The idea for the Guardians rose out of the ashes of September 11th. My family donated to the relief effort and instead of buying gifts that year, we made small figures, Guardians, out of cast-off household items. They were small and fit in the top of Christmas stockings, meant to honor and protect loved ones.
The world needed Guardians and sixteen years later, I’ve made and sold thousands: inner strength, service, long life - each one is thematic and represents our collective experience. I show and sell my work at national shows, as well as, through my website. If you are interested in a piece, please email me for the dimensions, price and availability.
Below are images of pieces that are currently available. Click on the arrow to scroll through the images. It will also continuously run show as a slideshow.
These pieces are sold but I can create similar custom pieces.
